View an ISO Task

There are three main ways to view the details of an individual ISO Task:

  • through Week or Month view, if you are assigned to the ISO Task or are a user with ‘Admin’ permissions for the Tasks module;
  • through List View, if you are assigned to the ISO Task or are a User with ‘Admin’ permissions for the Tasks module; and
  • Via the Tasks module (see View a Task)

In addition, you can access your assigned ISO Tasks directly from an email alert or from the Home screen.

View an ISO Task from Week or Month View

To view an ISO Task from Week or Month view, open the ISO Certification Manager module and locate the Tasks panel at the bottom of the screen. All relevant ISO Tasks will be displayed as individual tiles within this area, and will be displayed alongside key action buttons and a summary of the Task’s current Owner and Due Date.

To view the details of an ISO Task, click anywhere on the relevant tile.

Activ will open the Task’s Details tab, which will display all key information relating to the Task.

Note that each Task will contain up to three sections, depending on your system’s configuration:

  • Key Details – displayed at the top of the Task, and provides the Task’s title and relevant guidance notes for completing the corresponding piece of documentation.
  • Documents to Update – only available if Office Integration (i.e. ‘Live Editing’) is enabled for your system. Provides a list of the file templates that are associated with the Task; confirmation of whether each file has been updated, when, and by whom; and relevant action buttons for Live Editing your files and managing open Live Editing drafts of the files.
  • Links – displayed at the bottom of the screen, and displays shortcuts to:
    • file templates and example files (note that files download on click)
    • the folders that relevant templates/examples are stored within
    • help articles that will guide you through the relevant Activ functionality; and
    • any other supporting resources that may assist you in completing the Task.

View an ISO Task from List View

To view an ISO Task from the List view, open the ISO Certification Manager module and click on the List View filter that will be displayed at the top of the Checklist Task panel. Depending on your permissions, Activ will either open a list of:

  • all ISO Tasks within your system, if you have ‘Admin’ access to Tasks; or
  • the ISO Tasks that are assigned to you, if you have ‘Edit’ or lower permissions to the Tasks

By default, ISO Tasks are displayed chronologically by their Due Date, but you can also filter alphabetically by Summary. In addition, if your ISO Certification Manager contains multiple Standards then you will be able to filter chronologically by Standard, and if you are a user with ‘Admin’ permissions for the Tasks module then you will have the option to filter the list alphabetically by Owner.

To view the details of an ISO Task, click on its summary or due date.

Activ will open the Task’s Details tab, which will display all key information relating to the Task.
