Raise a Task from a Supplier Assessment

If your package includes the Improvement Logs module, Activ allows you to link Tasks to any Supplier Assessments that are recorded within your system. As with any other Task in your system, these Tasks can be assigned to individuals or groups of users, and Activ will automatically notify each user when the Task is assigned to them, and when its due date is nearing (as long as they have the appropriate Notifications settings). This feature can be used to (e.g.):

  • schedule a review for any attachments within the Assessment.
  • create a reminder to request updated copies of any attachments that might have an expiry date.
  • create a reminder to schedule a new Assessment using a different Supplier Template, if the next review should be conducted using a different template.
  • identify and assign any tasks that may need to be completed as a result of (or in response to) the information within the Assessment.

To raise a new Task from a Supplier Assessment, open the Assessment on its Details tab and click on the Create Task button.

This will open a popup window containing a new Add Task form. Most fields within the form will be blank, but the Supplier Assessment will automatically be linked within the Task’s Links section.

Enter the additional details as appropriate (see Create a Task for guidance), and then click Save.
