Finalise a Legal Compliance Audit

When a legal compliance audit has been completed, it is ‘signed-off’ within Activ using the Finalise this Audit button.  When you finalise an audit it is closed for editing and it cannot be re-opened.  All your compliance evidence in a finalised audit can be imported into a new audit using the ‘Import Evidence From’ feature when you set up a new audit.  See Import All Evidence from a Previous Legal Compliance Audit.

All legal compliance audits (both finalised and in progress) are listed on the Audits tab of the Legal Compliance Manager module.  Open an audit by clicking on its name in the Title list:

The audit’s Properties tab opens.  Click on Finalise this Audit:

The Properties tab opens for editing to allow you to record any finalisation notes:

Click on Save.  The finalised audit’s Properties tab is displayed and the only action button available now is PDF Audit Report.  Click on this to create a PDF file of the full contents of the legal compliance audit.  See Create a PDF File of a Legal Compliance Audit.  You can also view the contents of the audit on the Questionnaire, Legal Register and Individual Requirements tabs.
