Escalation Report

Activ’s Notification options include a daily Escalation Report that has been designed to give you oversight of your system’s overdue actions (e.g. Reviews, Audits, Tasks, etc). This report is generated as a PDF file and gives a complete list of overdue actions belonging to all users within your system. Actions are summarised by category and by person, and you can click on any action in the report to be taken directly to its page in Activ. In addition, Activ allows you to specify precisely when an overdue action should begin appearing within your Escalation Report, meaning that you can set them to appear from the first day that they are overdue, or (e.g.) when they are a week overdue.

The Escalation Report will be emailed to you as an attachment whenever your system contains overdue actions matching your criteria. You will continue to be notified of these actions until such time as they are completed, whereupon they will automatically be removed from the report. If your system does not contain overdue actions that match your criteria, you will not receive a report.

Note that you cannot configure your Escalation Report settings yourself unless you have ‘Admin’ permissions for System Administration: Administrator, but you will be able to opt in/out of the report regardless of your permissions (as long as Notifications have not been ‘locked’ to Administrators; see Enable / Disable Activ’s Notification Emails and Lock Notifications).
