As standard, Activ’s Incident Log module includes a dedicated Frequency Rates area, which has been designed to assist you with analysing your Incidents. This area contains two Incident Log-specific reports that allow you to generate line graphs plotting the frequency rates of the Injuries or Reportable Accidents that have been logged within your Incident Log module. Each graph plots the Frequency Rate statistic for a specified twelve-month period, enabling you to quickly and accurately determine overall accident and injury frequencies within your company.
As different companies may utilise different reporting periods, Activ does not limit you to January-to-December reporting. Instead, the platform provides you with the flexibility to select any starting month that you wish, as long as that starting month is at least twelve months in the past from the current month. For example, if you generate a report in January 2025, you would be able to start your reporting period in January 2024 or on any month previous, but not in February 2024 or any date after, as this is not followed by twelve months’ worth of data.
The Frequency statistics are calculated per 100,000 hours worked, and are based in part upon your company’s specific working hours. As such, Activ provides you with the ability to configure your company’s working hours on a month-by-month basis, ensuring that your statistics accurately reflect your own setup. This monthly figure is stored within the area for future use, and can be freely modified from one month to the next to accurately reflect changing monthly work patterns (e.g. months when circumstances may lead to hours being reduced, or increased, across the company).
