Within Job Schedules, the ‘Responsible Engineer’ is the individual who is ultimately responsible for managing a given Job Schedule and completing the individual Jobs that it generates. For this reason, they will automatically be assigned to all Jobs that are associated with the Schedule, and will be alerted when each of these Jobs is due for completion.
To assign a Responsible Engineer to a Job schedule, open the Job on its Details tab and click on edit.
All editable fields will open. Use the dropdown menu to select the appropriate Engineer within the Responsible Engineer field, and then click Save.
Your chosen Engineer will now be displayed within the Job Schedule’s Details form, and will automatically be assigned to each Job that is created by the Schedule.
