Calendar Alerts and Reminders

Activ provides automatic alerts and reminders to help you stay informed about your new and upcoming Appointments. These are configured through My Details – Notifications.

Unlike the alerts and reminders for most other modules, Calendar notification settings are presented within their own section of the Notifications tab, and must be separately enabled before they can be configured. See Configure your Calendar Appointment Notifications for guidance.

By default, you will be able to configure two Calendar notification options:

  • Meeting
  • Holiday

Note that Activ will automatically detect any additional Appointment types that have been configured for your Calendar module (see Configure Calendar Settings), and will add these to the list to allow you to opt in/out of receiving notifications for that specific type. In addition, Activ will automatically remove Appointment types from this notifications area if they are later removed from your module.
