Lateness – Overview

Lateness is an element of the Human Resources module that has been designed to help you manage your employees’ punctuality data. It provides you with a set of tools that allow you to record and track instances of lateness, how late your employees were, and their reasons for being late. Once entered into your system, employee punctuality data is maintained within the individual’s employee record for future reference, allowing you to track how frequently they are late and how much work time is lost as a result. In addition, this data is automatically fed into a set of graphs and reports that help you analyse company-wide and employee-specific lateness, enabling you to quickly identify trends on both an individual and organisational scale.

The global Lateness tab includes three subpages. These are:

List – lists all employees and summarises the number of times that each individual has been late during the selected time period. Punctuality is recorded in data table format and is provided alongside the total amount of work time that has been lost as a result of lateness.

By Month – provides a graph that summarises company-level punctuality data by month. You can specify the period covered in the analysis, and select whether to show the total instances of lateness or the total number of minutes lost to lateness.

By Day – provides a graph that summarises company-level punctuality data by day. You can specify the period covered in the analysis, and select whether to show the total instances of lateness or the total number of minutes lost to lateness.
