Export Contacts

Activ provides you with the option to export your Contacts from your system as a CSV file. This file can be stored or printed for use outside of Activ.

Two options are available for exporting Contacts:

In both cases, the CSV file will only include the information that is recorded within each Contact’s Details tab.

Note that download behaviour is controlled by your browser settings. If the CSV file does not download as expected we recommend that you check your browser settings to ensure that they are properly configured.

Export all Contacts

To export all Contacts from your system, open the Customers & Suppliers: Contacts area. This will take you to the Contacts: Search page, which houses a register of all current Contacts across all existing third-party companies. If necessary, you can narrow the list of Contacts using the search field at the top of the page: any filters that are applied will be reflected within your export.

Click on the Export button.

The CSV file will automatically download to your computer.

Export Company-Specific Contacts

To export all Contacts associated with a single company, open the company’s record and navigate to its Contacts tab (see View a Company). This will open a register of all Contacts that are currently associated with the selected company.

Click on the Export button.

The CSV file will automatically download to your computer.
