The agreement compliance audit workflow is a 3-step process: 1 – Scope, 2 – Conduct, 3 – Sign Off. This article deals with Step 3.
When the audit has been conducted its status remains ‘In Progress’ until sign off is requested.
3a – Request Sign Off
To request an audit to be signed off, go to the audit’s Scope or Findings tabs, where the Request Sign Off button is available:
Click on Request Sign Off. You will be prompted to confirm the sign-off person and to enter a due date.
The audit’s status moves to ‘Awaiting Sign Off’. Further edits to audit records are now prevented. The Sign Off person will be automatically alerted by e-mail that the audit is ready for their attention, provided they have selected the relevant option in their My Details – Notifications. See Agreements Manager Alerts, Notifications and Reminders.
While an audit is ‘Awaiting Sign Off’ the sign off request can be withdrawn by clicking the Cancel Sign Off button. See Cancel an Agreement Compliance Audit Sign Off Request.
3b – Sign Off an Audit
Sign-off is the formal completion of an audit. The audit may be conducted and signed off by different people, or by the same person, depending on the nature of the audit and the degree of formality built into your audit practices.
For convenience, on the audit’s Scope tab you can generate a PDF of the complete audit report to view it:
Alternatively, you can directly view the audit and associated information on the audit’s information tabs: Findings, Linked Improvement Logs, Linked Tasks.
Sign off the audit by clicking the Sign Off button located on its Scope (or Findings) tab. You will be prompted to enter Sign Off Notes:
