As you work through an Improvement Log, it may be appropriate to raise a new, secondary, Improvement Log to address an issue that arises. See Raise a Secondary Improvement Log from an Improvement Log.
In some instances, it may be appropriate to link to an existing Improvement Log instead of raising a new one. In that case, you can simply link that Improvement Log to the current (primary) one.
Each Improvement Log’s Details tab has a number of action buttons, including Link Existing Improvement Log:
Click on Link Existing Improvement Log to shortcut to a list of all Improvement Logs within Activ for you to select from.
Select the relevant Improvement Log(s) by putting a check in the box to its left and then click on Save to complete the process of linking the Improvement Log to the primary one. You will be returned to the primary Improvement Log’s Details tab.
Each Improvement Log has three tabs: Details, Links and History. All items associated with the Improvement Log are catalogued on its Links tab. You can view any linked Improvement Logs on the Improvement Logs sub-page of the Links tab.
