Raise a Secondary Improvement Log from an Improvement Log

As you work through an Improvement Log, it may be appropriate to raise a secondary Improvement Log to address an issue that arises.  A link is automatically maintained between the primary and secondary Improvement Log.

Each Improvement Log’s Details tab has a number of action buttons, including New Improvement Log:

Click on New Improvement Log to shortcut to a new blank Improvement Log Details tab ready for you to populate.

Enter the necessary details in the appropriate fields.  See Improvement Log Fields Explained for a comprehensive explanation of each of the fields.

When you have entered all the relevant details click on Save to complete the process of adding the secondary Improvement Log.  You will be returned to the primary Improvement Log’s Details tab where you can create further actions as required.

Each Improvement Log has three tabs: Details, Links and History.  All items associated with the Improvement Log are catalogued on its Links tab.  You can view any linked Improvement Logs on the Improvement Logs sub-page of the Links tab.
