Link an Audit to an Existing Improvement Log

As you are conducting an audit you can raise a new Improvement Log.  See Raise a New Improvement Log Associated with an Audit

In some instances, it may be appropriate to link to an existing Improvement Log rather than raise a new one.

On an audit’s Checklist and Findings tab (‘Simple’ format audits) or on an individual question’s Questions tab (‘Advanced’ format audits) there are a number of action buttons, including Link Existing Improvement Log:

Click on Link Existing Improvement Log to shortcut to a list of all Improvement Logs within Activ for you to select from:

Select the relevant Improvement Log(s) by putting a check in the box to its left and then click on Save to complete the process of linking the audit/audit question to the Improvement Log(s).

You will be returned to the audit, where you can create further actions as required.

As well as being accessible and managed in the Improvement Logs module, all Improvement Logs associated with any audit are also housed on the individual audit’s Improvement Logs tab for quick reference.
